Kirk and Spock are currently dancing on my bedside table. What a romantic date.

Anonymous asked: What did you think of Upstream Color?
I thought it was a really beautiful film. I personally tried not to dissect it too much and viewed it more as poetry in film form, sort of Terrence Malick lite. I thought that the way it explored the themes of consciousness and identity was really interesting. Beyond that it was visually gorgeous. I really love that Carruth goes into a sort of softer sci-fi subgenre without being pretentious about it. I would recommend it to those who are up for something free form and different.
